World of Darkness

World of Darkness, I'm a fan
I've come to play another game
Because a story softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was playing
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Will remain
Within the World of Darknesss

I was the voice behind the throne
And whispered to the Prince of Rome
With the halo of a mighty champ
Yes, I was an overpowered vamp
But then I was stabbed
By a wooden stake at night
Without a fight
This is a World of Darkness.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand spirits, maybe more
Wyrm and Weaver in their endless fight
All was recreated by the Wyld
And I bought a shirt
With three wolves and a moon
Very soon
Just for the World of Darkness

"Fools," said I, "You do not know
Science like a cancer grows
And reality is just a lie
Use your Quintessence and don't be shy!
But then I was stopped
By the grip of Paradox
And rolled a Botch.
It's still a World of Darkness.

And the people bowed and paid
For the source books that are made
With more background that I need myself
I don't care, I want it on my shelf
And the book said "The words of the authors
Are just another way to dream
And I give in
Lost in the World of Darkness.
